Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology program aims to provide the aspirant with sufficient knowledge and skills to carry out routine laboratory diagnostic procedures and some sophisticated laboratory diagnostic procedures. They would have enough theoretical information about the principles of the laboratory exercises. It deals with new advances in Management of Laboratories, instrumentation etc. Some other connected exercises are Standard Protocols, Laboratory Investigations, standardization, use of technology, methodology etc. Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology program duration is three and half years. The medical technologists have the works like testing, documenting, investigating, reporting etc.

Eligibility Criteria for BMLT

The qualification needed for the BMLT program is a pass in HSC (10+2) with Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. The aspirants should have at least 50% marks for applying for this program. There are marks relaxations of 5% for the OBC, SC, ST applicants. The selection based on the marks obtained in 10+2.
